Sanctions Backlash: For all
his tough stand on the nuclear issue,
President Bill Clinton realises that the sanctions he has announced
are like pinpricks to India -- given the liberalisation and changed
economic scenario. Besides, pressure from other western leaders
and American think tanks is already telling on the president.
