Dead Weight: Tired of J Jayalalitha's arm-twisting, Atal Bihari Vajpayee
is waiting for the right time, and the numbers, to offload her. Of course,
much depends on whether the DMK and other smaller parties are willing
to play along. Otherwise, the BJP-led Government's own existence could
become precarious.
