The city's first bowling alley, Snow Bowling, opened just days ago. It gets a little wild after this, thanks mainly to Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Chennai Mayor M.K. Stalin and grandson of Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, who is the director of the centre. Udhay, an MBA from the US is giving it the works. The music is jazz fusion and rock.

There's a lights-off option in the four-lane set on weekends: everything is on day-glo, balls, pins, lanes, tables and chairs. There's a mini theatre system for breaks. Games cost Rs 100 on weekdays and Rs 125 on weekends. Forget politics. Go.
