It's
their War Too
Bhubaneswar, Orissa
Kargil has left no corner of India untouched. We Artists,
drawn from various theatre groups, has enthralled the city with its 30-minute street show
on the war, including the death of Manas Ranjan Sahu, a jawan from the state. "It was
sickening to find people glued to the World Cup telecast while our jawans were fighting
for the country," says Ganesh Mahapatra, the leader of the group. In emotional terms,
the show is leaving a powerful mark on the streets of the city.
