their War Too
Six-year-old Satarupa Das is unusual. Each morning, she takes the 5.30 train to Dum Dum, charming fellow commuters with Rabindrasangeet and Nazrul songs and collecting money for Kargil. She repeats the drill during her bus journey to school and back. So far she has collected Rs 1,000 in loose change. "I'll keep on raising money for my country all my student life." |
