MEN: This natural-coloured linen 'n' silk mix fabric in low-cut narrow trousers combined with a loose, unstructured jacket works well for that easy "home boy" look. Underwear, or rather, innerwear-as-outerwear, is an important fashion statement for men in Spring 2000. The waistband can peep out of the trouser, so labels are essential.
WOMEN: This pale blue georgette tunic in a streamlined silhouette has been layered and pleated at the waist for a slim, pared-down look. Off-shoulder or wide cowl and boat necks are predicted for Spring 2000, since they are airy, comfortable and trendy.
