Should caste-based quotas continue?

Uniformly across the sub-categories two-thirds of the respondents sought the abolition of the prevailing caste-based reservation system. Understandably the poorer sections favoured the reservation mechanism more than the more affluent ones but even here the differentials were too insignificant to take notice of. Young India has sent a signal that it believes in meritocracy. Hopefully, someday all India will.
