Should married women work?

                                         All figures in per cent

This response truly emphasises why India is a society undergoing change; and the womenfolk seem to be changing faster. Nevertheless, the orthodox streak in the Indian psyche is too marked not to be noticed. Replying to a related question on whether women should wear western clothes, 66 per cent of the men said nothing doing. So did 66 per cent of the women.
