Go Metro: Photography
An exhibition of black-and-white
photographs of the elderly, Ageing in India has already started its
24-city run with an eight-day stay at India International Centre in Delhi that will end on
October 8. This collection of works by Samar S. Jodha is filled with stark portraits of
men and women in the autumn of their lives. There's Khushwant Singh engrossed in a book,
Alyque Padamsee in half light, and then some unknown but very striking faces. From Delhi
the show travels to Mumbai and will then cover 22 cities over the next one year. |
