Go Delhi: Exhibition
If the point of this exhibition is more the spectacle than the art, there's a reason. The Art Show is being held to celebrate the first anniversary of Art Junction, the gallery-cum-cafe opened at Hotel Inter-continental in 1998. In the past year, the place has played host to a series of such shows, dance performances, a numerologist, even a flautist. Now this, a group show with paintings, sculptures and installations by over 80 artists. The line-up consists of well-known and not-so-well-known names, including Avijit Roy, Bulbul Sharma and Art Junction favourites Shobha Broota and Gopi Gajwani. On till October 29. For more information, call (011) 3320101, extension 2276.

Health Club

Health disco, being offered by the Pulse Impulse body clinic in the capital, combines the movements of Indian classical and folk dances, jazz dancing, discotheque fare such as jiving and other forms to create a complete one to one-and-a-half hour workout. Charges for a month of such exercise-while-you-have-fun sessions: Rs 1,000. Check-ups, counselling by a dietician and the maintenance of records are part of the package. If you're in the 5-50 age group and pass the mandatory medical screening, you're on. For further information call (011) 6919535, 6920365 or 6927105. Fax: (011) 6921693.
