Go Delhi: Exhibition
If the point of this exhibition is
more the spectacle than the art, there's a reason. The Art Show is being
held to celebrate the first anniversary of Art Junction, the gallery-cum-cafe opened at
Hotel Inter-continental in 1998. In the past year, the place has played host to a series
of such shows, dance performances, a numerologist, even a flautist. Now this, a group show
with paintings, sculptures and installations by over 80 artists. The line-up consists of
well-known and not-so-well-known names, including Avijit Roy, Bulbul Sharma and Art
Junction favourites Shobha Broota and Gopi Gajwani. On till October 29. For more
information, call (011) 3320101, extension 2276.
