Go Delhi: Archaeology show
For those who doubt the very existence of King David, despite Judaic and biblical traditions, the Embassy of Israel is hosting The City of David exhibition at the National Museum in the capital. This is the first ever archaeological exhibition to travel from Israel to India. The theme of this well-curated and designed display is the life and times of King David. With about 240 original exhibits on show, some over 5,500 years old, the exhibition is on till November 27. A number of events linked with the show have also been organised including an illustrated lecture, clay-modelling workshops, school visits and an on-the-spot painting competition on November 13 for children. For further information on the events, contact the Embassy of Israel at (011) 301-3238.
