Top Order The support is hard earned. In the past five years,
following orders by Saldanha, the city's Outer Ring Road has been completed, fountains in
Cubbon Park and Lalbagh have sprung back to life, and mounted policemen keep watch on the
city's parks. The state Pollution Control Board has recorded that for the first time in
three years air quality has improved. Says Saldanha, unfazed by occasional hiccups like
the PIL: "If I can make Bangalore a better place to live in, I will do it even if I
