A "cafe" for tea? That's what the Tea
Centre at Churchgate is. Boasting of 15 flavours -- eight more are to be added by
the year-end -- it has everything from Nilgiris tgfop (tippy golden flowery orange pekoe)
to Temi tea and earl grey. A pot of tea comes for anything from Rs 40 to Rs 125, depending
on how exotic the variety is. If you must have something to munch with your tea, there's
brunch for Rs 100, a full-fledged vegetarian meal for Rs 105 or a non-vegetarian meal (Rs
125). Designed by adman Prahlad Kakkar, the colonial-style drawing room adds to the
