Go Delhi : Exhibition

Eternal Quest might sound like a somewhat trite name for an exhibition but Karnataka-bred B.O. Shailesh's pictorial elan is what creates the necessary impact. Working in the now-fashionable tradition of the Clemente clique, the 29-year-old artist uses quasi-erotic and meditative imagery in mixed media to "explore the relationship between man and woman". The exhibition is on at Art Konsult gallery till April 13. For more information call (011) 652-3382.

Dance Festival

Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, the renowned institute for dance and music, is having a dance festival, Marg. Featuring 12 of India's finest dancers like Saswati Sen (Kathak), Priti Patel (Manipuri) and Malavika Sarukkai (Bharatnatyam), Marg is being held as part of the Mahavidyalaya's 60th year celebrations. Each dancer will perform a sequence of individual choice. On from March 27-April 1. Call (011) 323-3791, 338-8084.

Go Goa: Restaurant

Ex-model and actor Ranjeev Mulchandani has opened Axirvaad Gallery Restaurant in a 150 year-old Goan Portuguese bungalow. Colour-washed walls, matching cutlery and music add to the charming rustic ambience. The restaurant serves Arabic, Mexican, Thai and Indian cuisine. The shrimp served in a herb and olive cream sauce is delicious. So is their freshly baked  bread. For dessert try the Afro-milkshake with dark rum. A meal for two is Rs 600. Call (0832) 262147.
