Strangers in the night

Just when the monsoon had dampened Mumbai's spirits, a party with an unusual theme came along. At the Bacardi & Friends party last week, six Mumbai jetsetters were asked to call five of their pals, who could in turn, call five more. The chain carried on and soon the whole city was invited. Free Bacardi and cocktails Cuba Libra and Mogito got the party at nightclub 1900s going. A whole bunch of Mumbai's social set showed up -- Reshma Bombayvalla, Sophiya Haque, Suchitra Pillai, Jules Fuller and Nikhil Chinappa among others. Marc Robinson played the emcee, asking guests questions like, "Who do you fantasise about?" or "Where do you like to have sex?" Remarked Fuller: "We rocked with strangers and it was great fun." 1900s was jam packed all night. Now, that's a party.
