Aussie blitz

How to party Australian" wasn't an ad for Foster's beer but a clarion call given by the Australian Consulate in Mumbai, Oberoi Hotels and SOTC to kickstart their run up to the Sydney Games. First the young magician Kirti Parekh roused the audience with her tricks, the big moment coming when Kajol's head was fastened on the guillotine. The actress was desperately gesturing to hubby Ajay Devgan, who sat unmoved even as the blade fell on her pretty neck. (She survived, of course.) Later the fashion show by Troy D'costa had lissome models wandering around the aisles, some of their clothes fashioned from chain mail. But the coup de grace was ex-cricketer Greg Chappell who did a special jig for the crowd and talked about Olympic legends Milkha Singh and Dhyan Chand. So when is the next round?
