Net reward Only a woman could have got under the skin and made it possible. Lakme's touch-screen kiosks introduced at select beauty outlets now capture faces on a computer, enabling customers to "touch and apply" cosmetics online before shopping. But Shobha Ponnappa, Chennai-based Avigna Technologies' unflappable 41-year-old CEO, has done it before, customising virtual pubs, bowling alleys, even sanitaryware showrooms for clients on the www circuit. Ponnappa's web company has grown from a modest start-up capital of Rs 5 lakh to a whopping Rs 3 crore turnover in four years.
