The Smaller Party may Get the Better Portion

  • Some of the largest profit-making PSUs like Bhilai Steel Plant, NTPC and MMTC are located in the new state. Their revenue is in excess of Rs 5,000 crore annually.
  • Chhatisgarh will be a power surplus state as it uses only 60 per cent of its power output.
