Young One
She's young and fresh. And she has grandparents Premnath and Bina Anarkali Roy's legacy on her side. Twenty and raring to go, Akanksha Malhotra will now fulfil her "dream to face the camera" in Yeh Mohabbat Hai opposite newcomer Rahul Bhatt. One-time actor papa Premkishan is "apprehensive", but Akanksha, all grown up and confident, is ecstatic: "Grandma has always been my inspiration. Wish I could be as graceful an actress as she was." Here's wishing she has the genes on her side too.

Wedding Bells
She has been his only girl. Now she will be The Only One. Wedding bells are soon to chime for Hrithik Roshan and Suzanne Khan. Papa Rakesh Roshan says the big day will dawn in February, if "Hrithik's producers let him off for even five days". Word is that the two khandaans are gearing up for the event, but insists Roshan senior: "Nothing's planned. It'll be a family affair." Drop the hopes, girls, this one's for real.

Ready to Show
From "nothing" to "something". That's how Waluscha D'souza, 18, describes her recent win at the Lakme & MTV Model Mission contest. A month ago, she was just another Goan girl. Today, she's getting her portfolio done by the likes of Farrokh Chothia-who did the same for Aishwarya Rai, Malaika Arora and Lisa Ray-and getting a makeover by Wendell Rodricks. Way to go? Trills D'souza: "Didn't expect it. Now I am here to stay." Right choice, baby.

Q&A
"I am playing me"

"What will you call me, chat-show hostess or TV anchor?" asks Zeenat Aman with a child's eagerness. You say "neither", still remembering the smouldering '70s sex symbol she once was. In Conversation With Zeenat Aman, B4U's new chat show, will mark Aman's TV debut. A sneak preview:

Q. Is this a comeback or not?
A. 'Comeback' is a cliched word. I'll settle for ready-to-be-back.

Q. Any new revelations?
A. I will be playing me- not Sita, Sheela or Sheetal for a change. Gosh, have I played too many of those! (laughs)

Q. So it's a step forward.
A. More like a tentative step back into the entertainment industry.

Q. Why tentative?
A. Because it will not be a headlong plunge into acting and direction.

Q. Why not?
A. This is what I want now, to make my moments count more than ever before.
