Q/A:
Lisa Ray
"I
can relate to the sensibility of Kasoor"
After
10 years of playing hide-and-seek with Bollywood, model Lisa Ray makes
her film debut in February with Kasoor. Ray on movies, roles and why she
hasn't accepted any other offer.
Q.
What made you say yes to the film Kasoor?
A.
Earlier there were several prestigious offers but I was too young and
naive. Kasoor is my dream project. I can relate to the sensibility of
the film.
Q. What
character do you play?
A.
I portray a young, independent career woman in the urban Indian context.
But it is not a one-dimensional character.
Q. So
what's next?
A.
I'm proceeding at a relatively wary pace. It was never a burning ambition
to act. This is just one of the many things that I do. I also model, host
a television programme and compere events. I'm an ambassador for Rado
watches. I'm very serious about my other commitments.
