Missing The Leader
The nation seems to be in the middle of a
leadership crisis. An opinion poll conducted by ORG-MARG for INDIA TODAY
shows that both Vajpayee and Sonia Gandhi's popularity ratings have dropped,
leaving the people yearning for a strong leader like Indira Gandhi.
Leaders In Crisis
The INDIA TODAY-ORG-MARG opinion poll last January
was Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's wake-up call. He chose to put
the alarm clock on snooze and thereby accelerated the decline in his Government's
popularity.

Bar
Tusker's
at Hotel Nikko is serious about transporting the flavour of an African
safari with phony elephant heads, hunting scene lithos and moss green
upholstery. Traditional cocktails and beverages flood the menu, but what
really sets the bar apart is its selection of Japanese Sake. Snacks are
tangy and sharp-try the smoked salmon rolled in Dijon mustard. Two lady
crooners add to the mood ... and no, they don't sing African songs. Call
(011) 374-7861 for more details.
