ALI SPEAK
The charmed circle of Delhi's powder people who kept
a pusher in business
 Ali's
disclosures have provided the authorities a list of his main clients and
their purchasing habits. Since the information is uncorroborated, the
names have been changed to protect anyone unfairly accused of consuming
cocaine. Excerpts from Ali's deposition:
T.T., garment exporter
He runs a fabric factory in Gurgaon and I have been to his farm where
he has a collection of 150 bitches. He has a unique habit: on one nostril
he puts white heroin, on the other brown heroin and then he puffs cocaine
from a special pipe brought from Canada. He used to buy from me over the
past year usually every Wednesday and then again on Friday and Saturday.
He has issued self cheques to me on HSBC Bank. This can be verified as
I have signed behind the cheques.
SINGH, businessman
He owns a computer company and I used to deliver at his Greater Kailash
II office. Each week he buys around 8 gm. I feel he uses the stuff every
day. His usage seems to have gone up after his second marriage broke up
recently.
BOB, businessman
He bought twice a week, usually at Djinns, and 5-6 gm at a time. He likes
taking cocaine three days at a stretch, usually on weekends. He has issued
cheques drawn on Punjab National Bank, Connaught Place, to me.
ALLY, actor
He called me to his Prithviraj Road residence. He got my number from D.T.
I thought he'd buy at least 6 gm from me as he is rich. He took 1 gm and
said he would call me later but has never bothered to pay.
BITTU, theatre owner
He used to take 2-3 gm every Friday and Saturday from me. He told me he
passed on the stuff to a fashion designer.
MOLLY, fashion designer
I have been to her Saket residence on at least 10 occasions. She usually
picks it up twice a week. Usually she consumes 2 gm each week. I am not
sure if someone else is supplying to her or not.
SANDY, businessman
He has been taking delivery on Fridays and Saturdays inside his BMW which
is usually parked outside his Aurangzeb Road house. He has been buying
4-5 gm each time. I have also been supplying to him during gay parties
at Park hotel. They are held each Tuesday.
TIM, fashion designer
He is a big user and consumes 3-4 gm over the weekend. He parties a lot
and most of his friends are gay. With him delivery takes place outside
the Archana complex in Greater Kailash I.
DOLLY, socialite
I've known her for a long time. She is the daughter of a cricketer. I
have supplied to her during parties. At a party at Ishwar Nagar I supplied
5 gm. Till date she has not paid me the Rs 15,000.
BUNTY, businessman
He and his brother usually took delivery from me at Djinns, Whiskey Bar
or My Kind of Place. I'd call them when I procured the stuff and they'd
come and purchase 2-3 gm over weekends.
D.T., actor
I first met him at a Drugs Conference at Ashoka Hotel. He'd come to attend
it from Mumbai where he is based. He took 4 gm from me but never made
the payment. He still owes me Rs 12,000.
NICKY, businessman
He has been taking delivery with Sandy outside Sandy's Aurangzeb Road
home. He buys 4-5 gm at one go. I've been charging him a higher price
as he is very desperate for the stuff. I've charged him up to Rs 4,500
per gm.
DEV, minor film star
I've been staying at his Ishwar Nagar flat with my girlfriends. I've been
supplying to him for a long time but because I stay with him I do not
charge him for the coke. He has purchased 2 gm from time to time.
JOHN, businessman
He owns a travel agency and is based in Green Park. He takes 2 gm over
the weekend but because he allows me to use his Baleno frequently I do
not charge him.
MOHAN, businessman
He is a heavy user. I'd supply him usually on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
I'd supply 3 gm each time. We met at his office on Prithviraj Road, sometimes
inside his Mercedes which he purchased for over Rs 40 lakh. With him,
money transactions weren't involved as he allowed me to drive another
black Mercedes he possesses.
