He used to sculpt stone and make jewellery out of seeds, leaves, feathers and anything else he could lay his hands on. Now catch Delhi-based artist Atul Sinha's "sculptures for use" at Gallerie Zen on Bangalore's Dickenson Road. The show is on till November 25. Includes abstracts and some singularly practical creations like the carved wooden table that might also be a stool. For further details, call (080) 558-1578.

Eatery

Bangalore just got its first ice cream and coffee boutique from Switzerland's Movenpick. Read: premium ice creams, sundaes, an array of teas and coffees, and other desserts. There's also a cone-making unit so you get freshly baked cones. Prices range from Rs 50 for a 100 ml ice cream pack to Rs 395 for a one litre pack. It's on St Mark's Road. Telephone: (080) 299-6855.

DELHI
Boutique

Azeem Khan, the much talked about young Mumbai designer, has opened his first boutique in the capital. Azeem Khan Couture on the Mehrauli-Gurgaon road stocks outfits in the Rs 15,000-1.65 lakh range. "Since 99 per cent of my clients are NRIs, frequent travellers or have homes abroad, most of my clothes are fusion," he says. It's mostly womenswear, though he does menswear on request. If you want customised style, Khan might even fly over to Delhi to meet you. Telephone: (011) 680-0997.

CHENNAI
Book Store

The city's largest bookshop just got a second branch. The new Landmark in Chennai not only sells the usual range of books, CDs and stationery, it also has sections where you can buy home products and children's garments. Take a break from your shopping with some snacks, drinks and ice creams at the in-house restaurant. It's in Spencer Plaza. Telephone: (044) 852-4455.

MUMBAI
Water Sports

For a seaside city, Mumbai surprisingly has not so far had a club wholly devoted to water sports. That's why H2O on Marine Drive, partly owned by film star Sunil Shetty, is likely to make a splash. There are beach, joy and adventure rides; hi-speed jet boats to be chartered; heritage cruises; rowing, fishing, wind-sailing vessels and jet ski handling courses on offer here. Among joy rides, take your pick from bay, sunset and moonlight cruises (Rs 150 for 45 minutes). Telephone: (022) 367-7584/546.
