Prime Time Theatre presents Where There's A Will, the story of a rich Punjabi household, the eccentricities of the nouveau riche and a businessman whose ghost lingers on after his death. On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, Welham is organising a raffle for Luv and Kush -- a painting donated by M.F. Husain -- proceeds of which will go to the School Development Fund. The canvas is worth Rs 12 lakh but it could be yours for a mere Rs 500 (the cost of a ticket). A lucky draw will be held on October 18. Also on the agenda: a performance of Vikram Seth's Arion and the Dolphin at the school on October 17.

Art Fest
Sahmat presents a special exhibition of works by over 200 artists from 30 countries to mark the 50th year of India's Independence. Steam Queen
Fairy Queen, the world's oldest working steam engine hits the road once again. It will chug a 147 km journey between Delhi cantonment station and Alwar five times on weekends, starting October 18. The package tour, costing $400 per head., includes an overnight stay at Hotel Sariska palace and a visit to the tiger sanctuary.

Two recent books promise hours of enjoyment for fans of Indian cooking.
Bengali Cooking: Season and Festivals by Chitrita Banerjee (Serif, London) is an elaborate book categorised into Indian seasons and festivals. The recipes range from shukto (a bitter vegetarian preparation ) for winter.
Lite and Luscious Cuisine of India by Madhu Gadia (Piquant publishing, Iowa) gives tips on rustling quick meals like tortilla samosas and ricotta cheese paneer.

After Corum, it is the turn of Cartier. To mark India's Golden Jubilee, the French design house has made avialable a limited version of its Tank Americaine watch. Priced at Rs 3,40,000, it has a special engraved white gold with black alligator strap, it has individual numbers engraved on the back of its case.
